Ingredientes

  • 1 c. chocolate wafer or possibly oreo cookie crumbs
  • 1/2 c. to 1/4 c. butter melted
  • 1 quart to 2 quarts. peppermint stick or possibly vanilla ice cream soften
  • 3 x egg whites
  • 1 c. marshmallow creme
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 ounce unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 x 6 ounce. cn evaporated lowfat milk

Direcciones

  1. Crust: Combine cookie crumbs and butter. Press into 9" or possibly 10" pie plate. Chill.
  2. Filling: Spoon into chilled crust and freeze till hard (may be covered with baked meringue or possibly served with chocolate sauce only).
  3. Meringue: Beat egg whites till stiff. Add in marshmallow cream gradually and continue beating. Stir in vanilla. Spread meringue over ice cream, sealing to edge of crust. Bake at 450 for 2 to 3 mins., or possibly till lightly browned. Freeze immediately. Cut into pcs and serve with sauce. Sauce: Heat together chocolate and butter over low heat.
  4. Stir in sugar and lowfat milk; continue cooking till thick, stirring constantly. Either serve with the meringue or possibly pour directly over the ice cream and freeze till serving.
