Almost No Fat Grand Marnier Ice Cream

Ingredientes

  • 1 tsp Unflavored gelatin
  • 1/4 c. Grand Marnier
  • 3 c. skim lowfat milk
  • 3 Tbsp. skim dry lowfat milk
  • 1/3 c. Sugar
  • 1 tsp orange zest grated
  • 1/2 c. egg beaters 99% egg substitute
  • 1 1/2 tsp Vanilla
  • 3 med Oranges Orange zest

Direcciones

  1. Sprinkle gelatin over Grand Marnier. let stand till softened. Combine 2 c. lowfat milk, non-fat dry lowfat milk, sugar and orange zest in saucepan. Heat to simmer. Add in a little warm mix to egg substitute and return all to pan.
  2. Heat and stir till slightly thickened. Stir in gelatin mix just untildissolved. Stir in remaining lowfat milk. Let cold to room temperature. Stir in vanilla. Process in ice cream maker according to manufacturer's directions.
  3. To serve, spoon ice cream into orange shells and garnish with orange zest,if you like.
  4. For six orange shells cut three medium oranges in half crosswise. Gently juice oranges, being careful not to damage shells. Reserve juice for another use. Scoop any remaining membrane from inner shells. Refrigeratetill serving time.
  5. Makes 6 servings.
