Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. butter (melted)
  • 4 c. zwieback crumbs
  • 5 c. sweetened applesauce, canned or possibly homemade
  • Whipped cream of Cold Whip (9 ounce carton)

Direcciones

  1. Mix butter and crumbs. Butter baking dish thoroughly and arrange crumbs and applesauce in alternating layers (two layers of each), finishing with crumbs. Bake in moderate oven (375 degrees) for 15 to 20 min. Invert on plate or possibly serve from pan (warm or possibly cold), topped with whipped cream. Use 9 x 13 pan. Serves 16.
