Asparagus with a Lemon Cream Sauce

Ingredientes

  • 16 ounces Fresh (thin) Asparagus (cut off ends 2")
  • 2 Fresh Lemons (divided use) juices and zest
  • 1/4 scant cup light cream
  • 2 tablespoons Sour Cream
  • dash of black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon sweet cream butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon (AP) All purpose Flour

Direcciones

  1. In a skillet on the stove top on medium/low heat add sweet cream butter once melted add asparagus spears, juice of both lemons, lemon zest of one and saute 2 minutes, reduce heat to simmer.
  2. In a bowl or clean jar add light cream, sour cream, 1/2 teaspoon AP flour, black pepper, and shake vigorously and empty into a small sauce pan, stir gently increase heat to medium high and cook 2-3 minutes, stir during cooking time.
  3. Plate asparagus, add lemon zest and Lemon Cream Sauce.
