Banana Bread

What else are you going to do with all those over ripened bananas!!!

I have experimented with this recipe for over 15 years... it is great every time.

Va Bien Con: cream cheese, cup of coffee

Ingredientes

  • 4-5 very ripe Bananas
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Olive Oil or Apple Sauce
  • 1 t Baking Soda
  • 2 T Milk
  • 1 T Vanilla
  • 2 cups Flour
  • My Variation to the recipe: I add
  • 1 1/2 T Baking Powder
  • 1/4 cup Milk plus 1 T Vinegar (rather that 2 T Milk) let sit for a minute
  • 1/2 cup ground Flax Seed
  • 2 T Vanilla Extract ( rather than 1 T)
  • 1 T Almond Extract
  • 1/4 cup Brandy ( whiskey, Kahlua, etc)
  • 1/2 cup Craisins (Currants, Cherries, Bluberries, Raisins, Choc.Chips, etc)
  • 1/2 cup chopped Walnuts

Direcciones

  1. In a lage mixing bowl
  2. Mash bananas with potato masher
  3. Add remaining ingredients
  4. Mix well.
  5. Pour into a greased and floured loaf pan or cake pan.
  6. Bake at 350 for 45-60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
