Ingredientes

  • 1 lrg onion coarsely minced
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine
  • 1 med cabbage head - (abt 2 lbs) coarsely shredded
  • 1 can Spam luncheon meat - (7 ounce) diced
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp caraway seeds
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 tsp sugar

Direcciones

  1. In large saucepan, saute/fry onion in butter till golden, stirring often. Add in cabbage, Spam, water, caraway seeds, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil; cover and simmer 10 min. Stir in vinegar and sugar; mix well.
