Ingredientes

  • 2 lrg egg whites at room temperature
  • 1/4 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 x 6-oz package semisweet chocolate pcs, melted and cooled
  • 1/4 c. minced walnuts

Direcciones

  1. Heat the oven to 350 F. Lightly grease 2 large cookie sheets. In a large grease- free bowl, with an electric \mixer at high speed, beat the egg whites, cream of tar- tar and salt till foamy. Beat in the sugar, a Tbsp. at a time, till stiff peaks form and sugar is dissolved. Add in the vanilla. Gently mix in the melted chocolate and walnuts. Drop by heaping Tbsp. onto the cookie sheets and bake for 10 to 12 min. Remove to wire racks to cold.
