Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. orange juice
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp white pepper
  • 1/4 tsp grnd ginger
  • 1/8 tsp grnd nutmeg
  • 3/4 c. jullienne-cut carrot
  • 3/4 c. jullienne-cut parsnip
  • 1 Tbsp. maple syrup

Direcciones

  1. Combine first 6 ingredients in medium saucepan; bring to a boil. Add in carrot and parsnip; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 6 min or possibly till tender. Drain and spoon vegetables into a serving bowl; drizzle with maple syrup.
  2. NOTE:Use real maple syrup, and not the imitation pancake syrup, for this recipe.
