Ingredientes

  • 1 cut up chicken, about 3 lbs.
  • 5 1/2 c. water
  • 1 packet Mrs. Grass' Chicken Soup mix, don't use noodles
  • 4 c. Meuller's Dumpling Noodles
  • 3 celery stalks, cut in 1" pcs
  • 1 lg. onion, sliced
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1/4 c. minced parsley
  • 4 carrots, sliced
  • 1/4 c. flour blended with 1/2 c. water

Direcciones

  1. In Dutch oven, combine water and chicken; bring to a boil. Skim off scum. Add in vegetables, soup mix and bouillon cube. Bring to a boil, simmer one hour, stirring occasionally, till chicken is tender. Remove chicken, bone and cover and set aside. Bring broth to a boil and add in noodles. Cook 5 min. Stir in blended flour and water. Return to boil, cook, stirring occasionally till broth thickens and noodles are tender. Correct seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. Return chicken to pot. Heat and serve.
