Ingredientes

  • 2 Tbsp. Soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Ketchup
  • 2 pkt Chinese mustard, from a restaurant
  • 2 Tbsp. Honey
  • 2 Tbsp. Canola oil
  • 1 Tbsp. Minced garlic
  • 1 Tbsp. Minced ginger
  • 8 ounce Chicken strips
  • 1 bn Scallions, cut into 2-inch pcs
  • 1/2 head red cabbage
  • 1 c. Red onion, sliced
  • 1 lrg Granny smith apple, minced
  • 1/4 c. Whole peanuts
  • 1/4 c. Orange juice
  • 4 c. Cooked brown rice

Direcciones

  1. Pour all of the sauce ingredients in a jar and shake to mix.
  2. Heat oil in a saute/fry pan and add in garlic and ginger when warm. Add in chicken to pan and stir till fully cooked. When chicken is done, add in cabbage, onion, apple and peanuts.
  3. Deglaze the pan with orange juice. Pour the deglazed liquid over 1 c. brown rice for each portion. Serve chicken mix over rice, topped with sauce to taste.
  4. Yield: 4 servings
