Receta Crispy Baked Onion Rings
by Marlene Baird

Gosh. It seems so weird to see how food trends evolve over time. When I was in my early teens, fast food restaurants were all the rage. It totally beat eating a Swanson’s TV Dinner. Don’t even begin to tell me you are too young to remember a Swanson TV Dinner.

Before fast food restaurants were around I didn’t even know what onion rings were. But when I tried them for the first time, they were right up there with my beloved french fries. But then, as time evolved, the thought of fried onions just did absolutely nothing for me. Um, until the Bloomin’ Onion. Then I was all over them. Again. But, alas, as I grew older, my tummy had a long talk with me. I just had to stop eating onion rings or bloomin’ onions for that matter.

I missed them every now and again. So of course, I had to try to make Crispy Baked Onion Rings.

I am happy to announce that I am now in love with baked onion rings.

Oh my goodness. They went so well with my Kalua Pork Sliders.

Welcome back to my life onion rings. As long as you stay baked and not fried.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
