Crispy Fried Shallots are an essential condiment in many of my recipes. It is used to enhance the flavor of many dishes, such as soups, congee, noodles, vegetables, tofu, and the possibilities are endless. Crispy Fried Shallots

Ingredients

2 Bags (400 grams) Shallots, peeled & thinly sliced

2 ½ Cups of Peanut Oil

Method

In a wok or saucepan, heat the peanut oil over medium heat. Add the shallots and fry until crispy and golden brown in color. Remove the crispy shallots, drain well, and let it cool completely. Reserve the oil for another use. Store the crispy shallots in an airtight container.
