Ingredientes

  • 6 cubed beef steaks
  • 3 tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 c. bread crumbs
  • 1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • Mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil
  • 3 tbsp. veg. oil
  • 15 ounce. can tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Direcciones

  1. Dredge steaks in flour, salt and pepper. Beat egg with 2 Tbsp. water. Combine bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese and basil. Dip each steak in egg mix and coat with crumbs. Add in oil to 13 x 9 inch pan. Add in breaded steaks and bake uncovered 25 to 30 min at 375 degrees. Pour off drippings.
  2. Combine tomato sauce, sugar, garlic, oregano and pour over meat. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and bake 20 min more. Put slices of Mozzarella cheese on meat and return to oven for 3 to 5 min.
