Ingredientes

  • 8 lb Beef
  • 3 lrg Green pepper, minced
  • 2 lrg Onions, minced
  • 5 Tbsp. Chili seasoning
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 3 tsp Cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp Allspice
  • 6 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 x 16Oz Cans tomatoes, liquid removed, liquid reserved
  • 1 ounce Semisweet chocolate
  • 3 c. Pepperocini peppers, coarsely minced
  • 2 c. Jalapeno peppers, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 2 x 16Oz Cans tomato paste
  • 2 Tbsp. Mustard Tabasco sauce, to taste
  • 3 x Bay leaves

Direcciones

  1. Cut beef into cubes or possibly strips; trim fat and throw away. Heat 2 to 4 Tbsp. butter in a pot. Add in meat, green peppers and onions; simmer till onions are transparent. Add in chili seasoning, salt, pepper, cumin, cayenne pepper, allspice, worcestershire sauce and sufficient of the reserved tomato juice to cover meat. Stir constantly till well blended. Add in chocolate; stir till well blended. Add in chocolate; stir till melted. Add in tomatoes, pepperoncini, jalapeno peppers sugar, tomato paste, mustard, any remaining tomato liquid, tabasco and bay leaves. Simmer, stirring occasionally till done.
  2. NOTES : Also added about 1 c. of wine and 4 Habeneros...ummmm!
