Dough Stuffed and Baked Cheeseburger Pie

Such a fun dish my family loves! Add a salad, fruit cup and you have a complete meal.

Ingredientes

  • 2-9" frozen pie shells (thawed)
  • Some melted butter (for dough)
  • 16 ounces Good Sirloin Ground Beef
  • 1/4 cup diced finely onion
  • one teaspoon cumin
  • one teaspoon garlic salt
  • one teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese

Direcciones

  1. Pre Heat Oven 375 F
  2. Using a 9" baking pie plate or deep dish (I use Pyrex) transfer first dough to the pie plate, the second thawed dough add to a floured dusting work surface and roll out with a rolling pin (thin).
  3. In a large skillet add ground Beef, onions, seasonings and on medium heat break meat apart as it cooks, drain any excess grease, slowly add cheese (remove from heat source), once combined, transfer to the pie plate, add top dough (crimp the two ends together), add melted butter to the top, slit the center of dough to vent and place into the hot oven.
  4. Bake 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Slice, plate and enjoy!
