Festive Finds with Nespresso and Sur La Table
A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to spend a wonderful morning with one of my favorite people, drink one of my favorite drinks and do one of my favorite activities. Nespresso and Sur La Table treated myself and my mom to a memorable morning of sipping lattes, mochas and a fun shopping excursion. Who can ask for more?
Our first stop was the Nespresso Boutique Bar in Beverly Hills. Swanky and cool, this spacious cafe features the best coffee drinks made with Nespresso machines. Accompanied by delectable breakfast and brunch treats, we fueled up for what the rest of the day had in store for us.
The boutique not only serves delicious food and carefully crafted coffee drinks, but it is also a Nespresso store where you can find the perfect machine to suit your lifestyle and the perfect espresso capsule flavor to suit your taste.
During our visit, we had the opportunity to sample and try out Nespresso’s new Vertuoline System. A compact and ergonomic single-serve system with a state of the art extraction process called Centrifusion. Centrifusion indicates that the capsule spins and the water is injected into the capsule and infused with the ground coffee inside the capsule. Resulting in a high level of precision to brew each cup in the most optimal way.
The new Nespresso Vertuoline is available now. Just in time for the holidays and comes in three different colors: Red, black and chrome. Different than all the others machines I’ve tried, the Vertuoline offers a completely new way of experiencing fresh brewed coffee. With the system’s extraction, it delivers the most smooth cup of coffee or espresso with a layer of crema. Not crema as in cream but Crema as a naturally formed foam of coffee and air which preserves coffee aromas and enhances the coffee taste everyone loves.
Next on the agenda was our shopping trip to Sur La Table. Challenged by Nespresso and Sur La Table to find my favorite “Festive Finds”, I was equipped with a gift card and holiday shopping excitement.
