Ingredientes

  • 2/3 c. extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 x garlic cloves chopped and mashed to a paste with a healthy pinch of salt
  • 1/2 x a day-old Thick Focaccia cut into 1/4-inch thick slices , about coarse salt to taste for sprinkling the toasts

Direcciones

  1. In a bowl mix together the oil and the garlic paste, brush both sides of the focaccia slices lightly with the oil mix, and bake the slices in one layer on baking sheets in a preheated 250F. oven for 30 min.
  2. Turn the slices, sprinkle them with the salt, and bake them for 30 min
  3. more, or possibly till they are pale golden brown and crisp.
  4. Makes about 48 toasts.
