Ingredientes

  • 1/2 loaf crispy crust italian bread
  • 1 x Peeled garlic cloves, (1 to 2)
  • 1/4 c. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 sm Jar pimentos
  • 1 tsp Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil Salt and freshly grnd pepper to taste

Direcciones

  1. Slice the bread into 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick slices. Heat a stove top grill and place the sliced bread on top. Grill the bread till it is toasted and marked on both sides. Rub the garlic cloves on one side of the grilled bread. With a pastry brush, brush both sides of the bread with a little extra virgin olive oil.
  2. Drain the pimentos and toss them with the Balsamic vinegar, oil, salt and pepper to taste. Top the grilled bread with the pimento mix. Serve hot.
  3. Yield: 2 servings
