Ingredientes

  • 1 c. Oatmeal
  • 1 stk margarine or possibly butter
  • 1 1/4 c. Boiling water
  • 1 c. Brown sugar
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 2 x Large eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 c. Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 3/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Flour
  • 1/2 c. Lowfat milk
  • 10 Tbsp. Oleo
  • 1 c. Raisins
  • 1 c. Coconut
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 c. Powdered sugar

Direcciones

  1. Pour water over oatmeal and margarine. Let stand 20 min. Mix Large eggs and sugars. Mix dry ingredients and add in to Large eggs. Beat well and add in oatmeal.
  2. Spread onto greased and floured 10 x 15-inch jelly roll pan and bake for 20 min at 350 degrees. Cold and frost. Frosting: Bring to a boil the sugar and oleo; add in all ingredients except powdered sugar and vanilla. Boil for 3 min, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add in vanilla. When nearly cold, add in powdered sugar and beat well. Spread on cooled bars. Bars are best when made a day before needed and frosting sets up better.
