Ingredientes

  • 1 c. skim lowfat milk
  • 1 c. honey
  • 1 1/4 c. whole wheat flour
  • 1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp. baking pwdr
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 c. acceptable butter
  • 1 whole egg plus 2 egg whites, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 c. minced walnuts
  • Vegetable oil spray

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In a small saucepan, heat lowfat milk and honey over medium high heat till very hot, 120 to 130 degrees.
  2. In large bowl, combine whole wheat and all-purpose flours, baking pwdr and salt. Add in liquid mix and beat. Add in butter and Large eggs and continue beating till well blended. Mix in nuts.
  3. Lightly grease two 9x5x3 inch loaf pans with vegetable oil spray. Pour in bread mix and bake 45-60 min or possibly till cake tester inserted into center of the loaf comes out moist, but not wet. Makes 2 loaves, 10 slices per loaf. Single slices can be wrapped in foil and frzn.
