.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20made%203%20dozen%20cookies%20and%20mailed%20them%20to%20fellow%20bloggers%20for%20the%20Great%20Food%20Bloggers%20Cookie%20Swap%20(here).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EToday%20I%20am%20participating%20in%20the%20Improv%20Challenge,%20hosted%20by%20Kristen%20at%20Frugal%20Antics%20of%20a%20Harried%20Homemaker.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFor%20the%20challenge%20we%20are%20given%20two%20ingredients%20and%20asked%20to%20either%20find%20a%20recipe%20or%20create%20a%20recipe%20with%20them.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20month%20we%20had%20cranberries%20and%20egg%20nog.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENow%20I%20have%20never%20had%20egg%20nog%20and%20never%20been%20one%20to%20want%20to%20drink%20it,%20yuckiness%20just%20comes%20to%20mind%20thinking%20about%20it.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHowever%20I%20decided%20I%20had%20to%20be%20completely%20open%20to%20the%20idea%20and%20then%20a%20stroke%20of%20brilliance%20hit%20me...BREAD%20PUDDING%20(imagine%20a%20great%20shining%20light%20as%20I%20realize%20this%20is%20my%20dish).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20decided%20to%20do%20a%20little%20reading%20on%20bread%20pudding,%20as%20I've%20never%20made%20one,%20and%20found%20Paula%20Deen%20to%20be%20incredibly%20helpful.%20%20So%20I've%20based%20my%20recipe%20today%20on%20a%20bread%20pudding%20she%20made%20however%20I%20veganized%20it%20(so%20that%20no%20animals%20were%20hurt%20during%20the%20cooking%20of%20this%20dish).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EVegan%20Eggnog%20Bread%20Pudding%20with%20Cranberry%20Sauce%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eadapted%20from%20Paula%20Deen%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20a%20pot,%20on%20medium%20heat,%20combine%20your%20Earth%20Balance,%20sugar,%20egg,%20cranberries%20and%20vanilla.%20%20Stir%20together%20until%20the%20sugar%20is%20melted.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAdd%20your%20brandy%20and%20stir%20well.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EServe%20your%20bread%20pudding%20and%20top%20with%20sauce.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMy%20children%20were%20not%20huge%20fans%20of%20the%20brandy%20sauce%20and%20prefer%20just%20to%20eat%20the%20egg%20nog%20pudding%20on%20its%20own.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENot%20one%20to%20want%20to%20waste%20the%20sauce%20I%20needed%20to%20find%20a%20way%20to%20repurpose%20it.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20happened%20to%20have%206%20banana%20bread%20muffins%20on%20hand%20that%20were%20over%20cooked%20(sometimes%20I%20am%20just%20asleep%20at%20the%20wheel%20and%20I%20baked%20the%20muffins%20WAY%20too%20long).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20decided%20to%20cube%20the%20muffins%20and%20then%20doctor%20the%20sauce.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20blended%20the%20sauce%20with%201/2%20C%20of%20Silk%20Egg%20Nog%20and%20then%20poured%20that%20over%20my%20cubed%20banana%20bread%20muffins.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20let%20the%20mixture%20sit%20in%20the%20bowl%20for%2010%20minutes%20and%20then%20poured%20it%20into%20an%208x6%20dish.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBaked%20for%2040%20minutes%20on%20350%20degrees.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20pulled%20this%20pink%20concoction%20out%20of%20the%20oven.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20please%20try%20both%20versions%20they%20are%20great%20for%20breakfast,%20dessert,%20or%20a%20dish%20to%20bring%20to%20your%20next%20holiday%20party.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%20has%20been%20so%20much%20for%20participating%20in%20this%20Improv%20Challenge%20I%20cannot%20wait%20to%20see%20what%20next%20month's%20ingredients%20are.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlease%20check%20out%20the%20links%20below%20and%20see%20what%20other%20crafty%20bloggers%20have%20made%20up%20for%20us.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
