Receta Individual Flourless Chocolate Banana Cakes
by Marlene Baird

These amazing Individual Flourless Banana Chocolate Cakes are like little pots of heaven and will never cease to impress.

Preheat oven to 350*F.

Coat 4 eight-ounce (250 ml) OR 6 six-ounce (180ml) ramekins with nonstick spray.

Combine both chocolates in a small saucepan and cook over very low heat, stirring constantly with silicone spatula until melted and smooth.

Let it cool slightly.

In a food processor, blend the bananas until smooth.

Add the banana to a large mixing bowl along with the egg yolks, vanilla, raw sugar, and salt.

Gently stir in the melted chocolate.

In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.

Gently fold whites into the chocolate mixtures with just a few stirs, so as not to deflate the whole batter. A few streaks remaining is fine.

Divide the mixture amongst the ramekins and place in a 9×13 inch pan. Fill water halfway up the sides of ramekins and place in preheated oven.

Bake for 20-22 minutes until top of cakes are set.

Remove from oven and let cool

Banana Lovers unite.

Together, with my love for chocolate I think this dessert is heaven sent.

The hubby sees these treats coming out of the oven. And he says, “Wow, those look real good”. Ha ha! He doesn’t like bananas.

More for everyone else though.

I will tell you that I had to improvise. For the life of me, I couldn’t find 6 six-ounce ramekins. But it’s all good. They all tasted fantastic.

Another show stopper.

And really, there is no way I would ever find an excuse not to have a little something sweet to eat. Oh, remember when I told you about all those extra bananas I had. It was because Melissa bought some without knowing I already had some. How many bananas can a person eat in a day right. I would have frozen them, but I had so many already in the freezer and it was a good excuse to make something sweet.

In case you missed the other banana recipe I made this past week, you can find it here.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
