Ingredientes

  • 1 pkt Jello lemon pie filling
  • 1 x pie crust baked
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 1/4 c. water
  • 1 x egg
  • 1 env dream whip
  • 1/2 c. cool lowfat milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar

Direcciones

  1. Combine pie filling mix, 1/2 c. sugar, and 1/4 c. water in saucepan. Blend in egg, add in remaining water. Bring to a full boil over medium heat stirring constantly. Cold 5 min, stirring twice. Measure 1 c. filling, cover and cold completely. Pour remaining filling into pie shell. Prepare dream whip with lowfat milk and vanilla as directed on envelope, adding 2 Tbsp. sugar. Blend 1 1/3 c. into cooled filling. Spoon over filling in pie shell. Refrigeratethoroughly. Garnish pie with remaining dream whip.
  2. NOTES : This is one of Aunt Virgy's specialties along with mock chicken legs. Aunt Virgy is a wonderful dinner guest. In the "old days" when we barbequed with the Weber grill, we would serve her hamburgers which resembled charcoal briquettes and she would ask for the recipe. She would describe her method of preparing dinner as "throwing something together". She is a great listener and is a special friend to my mother. I am blessed to have her as my godmother.
