Maple Glazed Grilled (Broiled) Salmon Fillets

Ingredientes

  • 1/3 c. pure maple syrup
  • 3 Tbsp. cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. brown mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 x clove garlic finely minced or possibly chopped
  • 1/2 tsp grnd black pepper
  • 1 lb salmon fillets (to 2 lbs.)

Direcciones

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the syrup, vinegar, mustard, soy sauce, oil, garlic and pepper. Place salmon in a shallow dish, and pour marinade over the fish (preferably a glass dish). Turn to coat. Cover with plastic wrap, and chill for 1 hour, turning once. Remove salmon, and place on either broiler pan, or possibly on dish while you prepare the grill. In the meantime, pour off excess marinade into small saucepan, bring to a boil, and then simmer for 5 min to reduce to 1/4 c.. Add in a bit of water if it gets too thick. When the broiler or possibly grill are ready, brush salmon with heated sauce, and cook till flaking, taking care not to over cook. Estimate 10 min per inch thick.
