Ingredientes

  • 2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic pwdr
  • 1 tsp baking pwdr
  • 1 1/2 c. favorite beer
  •     oil -- for deep-frying
  • 36 med whole mushrooms (up to 48)

Direcciones

  1. Combine flour, salt, garlic pwdr, and baking pwdr in medium bowl.
  2. Add in beer and whisk till smooth. Cover and refrigerate30 min. Whisk again, let stand in refrigerator till ready to use. Batter can be prepared 1 day ahead if you like. Heat oil to 375 F. Holding stem, dip each mushroom into batter, covering cap completely. Fry in batches till golden. Allow oil to return to 375 F before adding next batch.
  3. Drain.
