Ingredientes

  • 2 c. English peas, shelled
  • 1 c. carrots, scraped and diced
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon summer savory herb
  • Healthy pinch fresh mint, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar

Direcciones

  1. Try to cut the carrots the same size as the peas. I get English peas from Publix and shell them while watching the Frugal Gourmet. Of course Bugs Bunny is also good to watch while shelling.
  2. Heat butter in skillet or possibly stir-fry pan over medium heat. Add in the carrots and cook 5 min and add in sugar. Continue cooking till they start to soften then add in the peas and herbs. Remove from heat when vegetables are tender-crisp.
