Ingredientes

  • 1 stk butter
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 3 c. Orange juice
  •     Grated peel (no white attached) of 2 oranges
  • 12 c. Self-rising flour
  • 2 c. Fresh or possibly reconstituted powdered buttermilk
  • 1 c. Whole pistachios

Direcciones

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar till well blended.
  2. Beat in the Large eggs, orange juice, and peel till light. Add in the flour, alternating with the buttermilk. Mix in the pistachios. Pour into the prepared pan and bake till a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean, about 1 hour.
  3. Makes 1 loaf
