Simple, three ingredient Slow Cooked Pork Sliders

I love the world of blogging. I have learned so much about cooking. I tried food that I never thought I would ever let my lips near (like Kimchi). I also learned that sometimes my research is lacking. I name recipes incorrectly (my bad). For example, I thought ” Kahlua” was Hawaiian. It’s not. It’s a Mexican liquor. In my description of why I was serving Kahlua Chicken, I mentioned how I wished I was in Hawaii. Come to find out (thank you Kirsten), that “Kalua” is Hawaiian. It’ a traditional cooking method that literally means “cooking underground.”

So okay I am not cooking anything underground, don’t worry.

I used a slow cooking method and with just three ingredients.

Kalua Pork

Total time

8 hours 2 mins

Author: Marlene Baird

Serves: 8

Place the pork tenderloin in the slow cooker. Sprinkle the salt on top and pat down.

Pout the liquid smoke on top and set to cook for 8 hours.

Remove let it rest about 10 minutes, the using two forks pull the meat apart.

Serve

6 PP per serving of pork and additional PP for your bread choice

3.2.2124

SALT

and Liquid Smoke.

The best bread to use is King’s Hawaiian Bread. So sweet and a perfect combination with the pork.

This three ingredient is the perfect recipe to throw into the slow cooker before you head out the door for the day. Come home and viola’ dinner is served.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
