Ingredientes

  • 1 x Chicken breast
  • 1/4 lb Lean pork
  • 4 Tbsp. Soy sauce
  • 1/2 lb Chinese cabbage
  • 1/2 lb Fresh mushrooms
  • 1/4 c. Bamboo shoots
  • 2 x Or possibly
  • 3 slc Fresh ginger root
  • 1 tsp Cornstarch
  • 1 x Egg white
  • 2 Tbsp. Oil
  • 2 Tbsp. Oil
  • 1/2 c. Stock
  • 2 tsp Cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp. Water

Direcciones

  1. Skin and bone chicken. Then cut chicken and pork in thin slices.
  2. Sprinkle both with soy sauce and toss. Let stand 30 min, turning occasionally.
  3. Slice Chinese cabbage, mushrooms and bamboo shoots. Mince ginger root.
  4. Drain chicken and pork, reserving soy sauce. Blend the soy with cornstarch and egg white; then add in to chicken and pork, tossing gently to coat.
  5. Heat oil. Add in chicken and pork; stir-fry till they lose their pinkness
  6. (about 2 min). Then remove from pan.
  7. Heat remaining oil. Add in ginger root, then vegetables; stir fry 2 min.
  8. Return chicken and pork, stir-frying briefly to reheat. Then stir in stock and heat quickly. Cook, covered, over nedium heat till done (about 2 min).
  9. Meanwhile blend remaining cornstarch and cool water to a paste; then stir in to thicken. Serve at once.
