Ingredientes

  • 25 (8-10 oz, each) large apples, preferably Golden Delicious*
  • 1 lb raisins
  • 4 oz margarine
  • cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cup vanilla flavored low fat yogurt

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Cut apples in half lengthwise.
  3. Remove core and stem.
  4. Do not peel.
  5. Cut a small slice from the outside of each apple so they lie flat.
  6. Arrange skin side down on baking trays.
  7. Fill each cavity with 2 teaspoons of raisins and 1/2 teaspoon of margarine.
  8. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
  9. Fill pans with 1/4 inch water.
  10. Cover pans tightly with foil.
  11. Bake at 375 degrees for 40-50 minutes or until apples are tender when pierced with a fork (but not mushy).
  12. Serve warm or chilled, topped with a rounded teaspoon of vanilla yogurt.
