Mother of three and several grandchildren. One lives with me. Remarried a few years ago. My husband knew nothing about cooking, but with the help of my mom and his aunt, he learned, so he do most of the cooking.
Never was much of a cook myself but I am a collector of recipes, cookbooks and recipe booklets. Saw this site and knew I had to join.
I come from a large family that often have potluck gatherings, so I am always looking for a new recipe to spring on them. Several years ago I tried my luck at Chicken spaghetti and now it has become my signature dish.

My mom and my aunt. I remember my mom spending days baking for the holidays. And although I am not a fan of cakes and baking I was most fond of the smell throughout the home each year. She was number one with her chicken and dressing, preserves and jams and my aunt always came in a very close second.
