Acerca de mí
I enjoy cooking and eating but time does not allow me to do so. I am married to a wonderful artist. He and I both commute long distances to our jobs, therefore our free time is limited. Whenever we get a chance we like to duplicate the taste and flavors of the restaurant dishes we have enjoyed all week.
Influencias de Cocina
I am from the south with a caribbean twist. Both my southern grandmother and mother's cooking from "scratch" was always a great influence on what and how I cooked (with an island flare from my father's side of the family) until I met my husband. He gradually expanded my cooking experiences by encouraging me to incorporate the spices and flavors of Ethiopia, Africa, Thailand, India, and Vietnam into my dishes. Through a lot and I mean a lot of trial and error, I have come up with a few good dishes over the years.
