I am a Wisconsinite (yes, a cheese head) by blood transplanted in sunny, beautiful Pacific Coast Mexico. I moved here for the love of my life almost 3 1/2 years ago. I am a stay at home wife as well as a mother of a 22 month old baby boy.

I love to cook and bake and I really like to try different things, especially now that I have the time to do it. It is often a challenge to make new things here in Mexico because many needed ingredients are not available and/or hard to find or they are imported and very expensive. So I am constantly trying to find new things to make which use fairly basic things that won't break the bank. Living in the land of fiestas it is always fun to try something new to bring to the table for family and friends.They really enjoy trying some different dishes. And now that my little guy is approaching 2 years old very rapidly I am also looking for kid friendly recipes that he will enjoy or maybe even be able to help me with. Happy cooking : )
