I have a MSc. (Foods - Marketing) degree supplemented by progressive years of product development/quality assurance experience in retail, foodservice and quick service industries. As a product development/quality assurance professional, I have worked with over 5000 products from frozen foods to diapers. I have developed award-winning products for manufacturers as well as airlines.
My strengths include:

In my various positions, I have created a line of taquitos (protein, vegetable, seafood), pizza squares, calzones, pizza sticks (protein, breakfast, dessert), pastas, soups, salads, hors d’oeuvres, bruschettas, baked potatoes, health care products, etc. I am responsible for the development of the recipe, the sourcing of the ingredients, the bench work, plant trials, and all technical information for the customers.
I have also audited many facilities in Canada and the U.S. as well as managed the QA functions. I have partaken in a USDA/FDA Food Laws and Regulations course and have drafted regulatory packages for all customers.
The customer and supplier relationships have been built and maintained as well as future food trends have been recommended. I also have many subscriptions to different food magazines whether it is technical or recipe related. I enjoy visiting different restaurants and sampling the various cuisines, as well as entertaining at home.
