Acerca de mí
I love all different types of cuisine and wish I was retired so I can spend more time discovering different types of food. My family's biggest criticism about me is I am too choosy when in comes to food in restaurants, my usual reply is "Why order it when I can make it."

- 01 de Febrero de 2012Hi, Ufolie! I am very happy to connect with you on C-E-S and hope we have many great exchanges of information, ideas and recipes. I'm sure you must have at least 1 you can post as a family favorite. Don't be shy - we are all learning, all the time. Please let me know what you think after you try one of my postings, I appreciate feedback. I have NEVER had a bad meal in Canada - am I just lucky, or is that the standard? best regards - Amos

that recipe was a year ago, still on the search for healthy non fried samosas I recently made them with filo dough, they had the crisp (as filo dough crisps in the oven) that the other samosas lacked. I'm going to be posting the recipe...short of frying them which always works the filo dough solution seems to be best for a non fried version- 22 de Abril de 2011I'm always on the look out for heathier recipes for snack foods which can be prepared ahead of time and easily reheated in the toaster oven. It's hard to get that healthy crunch!
- 22 de Marzo de 2011Glad you joined Ufolie. I hope you enjoy the recipes here and I look forward to trying some of your favorites!1 reply
- 05 de Abril de 2011Thanks. I can't believe the number of recipes that you have submitted and the ones I've tried, I and my family have enjoyed them all. I'm a firm believer of food from scratch and also supporter of the micro farmers. I stumbled on the Cook Eat Share site by accident and so far it's been great. As for my own recipes...I don't often measure precisely..it is a bit of 'this and that'. It is a common complaint from my friends who come for dinner and want the recipe.
