Buying Chocolate Responsibly to End Slave Labor
Kathleen is Cooking in Mexico

I know this is a difficult topic, one we would rather not know about, but how many of you realize that much of the chocolate we eat is harvested by child slave labor in West Africa? This is a horror no one would want to support, yet we do every time we buy chocolate that is not labeled organic. (Organic chocolate has its own labor requirements that certify no slave labor is used.) Go to my blog to read "Chocolate, Slavery and Our Collective Guilt" and learn about what you can do to end this awful practice and make chocolate sweet again.

Chocolate is my obsession
You know who you are!
When contemplating stuffing a piece of chocolate in your mouth just rememeber: chocolate is full of anti-oxidants. Ride that for all it is worth!
