Vicki Brown Taylor 05 de Enero de 2012

I just got my Nuwave for Christmas and want to make a Turkey Pot Pie. I have made many of them in a regular oven , but don't know how to convert my recipe foruse in the Nuwave. Also...any generla info on converting traditional recipes would be greatly appreciated..

Try taking double 9" pie crust and fill with 8oz or mix frzen veg.or more, one can cream chicken soup, one can milk, what you want amt. of cooked chicken or turkey. Place on bottom of Nuwave and cook till crust is golden brown.

Thank you for you reply!
What I was looking for was which rack to use, what temperature and how long. I did find a recipe card that was include with my oven and my pie turned out great!. The problem is that with some recipes the version that Nuwave provides doesn't always work without modification. There is one for banana bread in the included cookbook, but when I used the settings in that one for my own pumkin bread recipe, it was uncooked in the center and did not rise correctly. It remained flat and started to brown within the first 5 minutes of the cook cycle. I had to put foil over it to keep the top from burning.

Jennifer, the chief chef at NW, is very friendly and helpful. There are some great recipes there as well.

Have fun! I love my NW!

Sharon,

I am already a member, but was not having any luck finding that particular recipe. The recipe I finally did find was in the cards included with my oven. I did, however, notice that the bottom crust on mine was not cooked well. The one in the recipe cards did not have a bottom crust.
