Not sure if I like my Nuwave.

I cooked pork chops thawd took over an hour, fresh corn on the cob took 45mins, potatoes dried up to nothing. Now dont get me wrong the chops and the corn were good but just took forever. I also tried to dry some fruit, bananas and apples they turned out terrible, some soggy some burnt. I think I need help before I decide to return it. Can anyone give me some suggestions....please. Thanks in advance.

Dont know that I can help much. I have had both really good luck with it, and some of what you said. A recipie that called for frozen, boneless chicken breasts, with a stuffing type topping, recipie stated 45 mins total, took over 2 hours and still frozen in the center! I may pass ours along to my daughter in law, to see what she thinks.......I will take any suggestions as well. I think it is a great idea and should cook better than it does

I have had my Nuwave for several months and I love it. We use it several times a week. True, you have to practice with it to learn how to tweak your recipes to your own taste, but what you are describing should not happen. I would advise contacting customer service regarding your problems with your oven. You can find the contact info at the website. The website info should be on your material you received with your oven, but I believe the main site is mynuwaveoven.com hope this helps. good luck

Sherry and Joy, I totally agree with Karen. There must be something wrong with your oven if it is taking so long to cook anything, so you need to contact customer service. I have had my NuVave Pro for over 2 years now and use it practically every day and sometimes twice a day! Everything comes out perfect! On my low-carb lifestyle, I cook mostly meats in the NuWave and they are sealed-in juicy perfection. Yes, I have even done them frozen. In fact when we decide at the last minute that we want a steak, we take out our 2" thick frozen steak and put in the NuWave and we eat within 35 minutes with it perfectly medium rare. I've raved over this oven since the day I got it and will be buying a new one this winter before we get back on the road in full-time RVing. It'll be a dandy in my RV kitchen! I hope you find out what is wrong that it's not working for you and you find out that this is the absolute best kitchen invention around today. Blessings to all of you.
