Help!
I am new to pressure cooking and need some help! My pressure cooker came with 3 different attachments for the top: 10 lb., 15 lb. and 20 lb. If I am playing around and inventing a recipe, how do I know which attachment to use?

What Kind of pressure cooker do you have ...Electric or top of stove ?
sounds like they are the pressure settings ... This posting may help you understand .....The Definitive Page of Pressure Cooker Cooking Times - in minutes....juust enter that in search
It is a page put up by Laura Pazzaglia..she seems to have a LOT of information that can help any new user ...My old pressure cooker is very old( over 60 years old ) with no settings at all .. had to just guess and over time figure out everything ...new one does it all for me ..didgital and brilliant ..just plug in and go ....so I am just taking a guess that the three attachments on yours are pressure attatchments
A long time coming with an answer but I just joined this group. In general..... (1) 5 pounds pressure = for pressure cooking/ canning FRUITS and SOME DESSERTS such as custards and puddings (2) 10 pounds pressure = for MEATS and FISH and some stews and chowders (3) 15 pounds = VEGETABLES and DRIED BEANS, and some soups. It's important though if you will be experimenting, to have access to a manufacturer's manual so you can refer to specific foods and recommendations as to amount of liquid and length of cooking times, particularly to pressure canning.
