Re: NU WAVE

Hi Cyndi!

I can't tell you the difference between the two, as I only have tried the Super Wave myself. However, it works great, and yes, I highly recommend the extender ring as otherwise you'd not be able to do a turkey in it. I've also discovered that a chicken without the extender tends to get a bit crispy on the outside, though it holds the moisture in nicely none the less without the extender.

Hope this helps,

John

Re: NU WAVE

The two are identical, Cyndi. Both are made by the same manufacturer in China. I bought the Super Wave at Sam's Club at an incredible price, but it was labeled "One Time Buy." It won't be available long.

So far, the Super Wave does everything as advertised.

Re: NU WAVE

Cheryl,
I'm using my Super wave for the first time. I saw it on HSN yesterday and then in Sam's Club almost $40 cheaper so I bought it. Of course, I had to try something that wasn't in the suggested recipes - Corned Beef and Cabbage and it doesn't look right. I hope it tastes good. The liquid is simply sitting at the bottom and the cabbage and carrots seem as though they are getting crispy edges and look dry. The meat is browning nicely, but this is supposed to be a boiled or steamed dish and I don't see that happening. Any ideas?
