FYI Cranberries and how long they will stay fresh?

Fresh cranberries will stay fresh for 4-8 weeks with refrigeration, I always have enough from Thanksgiving through Christmas If they look ok, feel firm, and don't smell weird, you should be good to go.
If you washed them, you could have a problem. The moisture can promote spoilage, but again, you would see, feel, or smell that.

Claudia,
Having spent a good deal of my life on Cape Cod, I have loved cranberries and prepare them year round. They are great with many types of meat and game as well as baking. But living in Switzerland and only getting fresh cranberries for 2 weeks before Thanksgiving, I've bought as many packages as I could fit into my freezer. They will last a year without a problem in the freezer and taste as though they have been just picked.
Regards,
Patricia
