POPCORN I love this TIP!

Claudia lamascolo
Claudia lamascolo 29 de Marzo de 2011

Before making popcorn on the stove or in an air popper, soak the kernels in water for 10 minutes. Drain the water, then pop as normal. The additional moisture helps the popcorn pop up quicker and fluffier with fewer “old maids.”

I will be sure to try this. We use an air popper, and always end up with lots of "old maids". Great tip, Claudia, thanks!

Thanks us too we love the hot air popper... I always add chili paprika and black pepper to it for flavor and love it!

Sounds like a great tip. So many kernals are usually wasted !

Popcorn is also useful if you want to cushion a jar of product you need to mail in a hurry. You just need to pop it first. LOL.
