Receta 10 cup Cookies
It's a rainy day here in Northern WI. What a perfect day to make cookies! This recipe immediately came to mind. On a rainy day or on a sunny day, I love these cookies. Plus this recipe makes a Big batch! Oh how I love a rainy day~
- 1 c granulated sugar
- 1 c firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1 c shortening
- 1 c peanut butter
- 3 lg eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 c all-purpose flour
- 1 c uncooked quick-cooking oats
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 c chopped pecans

Combine first 4 ingredients in a large mixing bowl; beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy. Add eggs, beating well.

Combine flour and next 3 ingredients; add to peanut butter mixture, and beat well. Stir in pecans and remaining ingredients. Drop dough by level teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased baking sheets.

Bake at 350 for 10-12 mins. or until golden. Immediately remove to wire racks to cool.
