Receta 10 Minute Tequila Lime Shrimp
If you don’t have time on your side then this recipe is perfect for you.
Imagine these ingredients – Shrimp. Lime. Tequila.
What is the first thing that comes to mind?
What used to come to mind was a big plate of steamed shrimp drizzled with lime and a shot of tequila on the side. What comes to mind now is why don’t I cook them all together and see what happens.
I’ll tell you what happens.
Shrimp awesomeness. I wonder if naming the recipe Shrimp Awesomeness would have worked?
A few years back Kurt and I visited Cancun sparking our love for tequila infused recipes. As tequila connoisseurs, tequila collectors and shrimp lovers I’m rather surprised it took this long to combine the two. I thought it would be a complete travesty to waste tequila in a recipe instead of just drinking it. What would happen to all that wonderful flavor?
I set out to prove myself wrong.
Shrimp combined with tequila is surprisingly divine.
This dish would work as an appetizer or a side dish as well. I would suggest using martini glasses to serve it as a pretty starter to a party.
As always, love you all. Have a fantastic Friday.
