24 Hour Egg Omelet

Ingredientes

  • 5 slices white bread, trim crust, butter & cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 3/4 pound Longhorn cheese, grated
  • 4 large eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2 c. lowfat milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • Dash of cayenne pwdr

Direcciones

  1. Place bread in greased 9 x 9 inch pan, cover with cheese. Mix remaining ingredients together and pour over cheese and bread; cover with foil and chill overnight. Bake covered at 325 degrees for 1 hour or possibly till egg mix sets. Uncover last 5 min. Serves 4 to 6.NOTE: 1 1/2 recipe fits 9 x 13 inch pan. Can use other cheeses; e.g: combination of Colby and Monterey. May add in sauteed green peppers, onion, mushrooms, and sausage.
