Ingredientes

  • 5 T butter
  • 2 1/2 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 T prepared spicy mustard
  • Pepper
  • 1 1/2 c. extra sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded (6 ounce)
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 pound macaroni
  • 1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 c. homemade bread crumbs in blender
  • 2 T butter
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter 2 qt baking dish. Heat butter, stir in flour and cook 1 minute. Gradually add in the lowfat milk. Cook till thickened. Stir in mustard, Cheddar cheese and pepper. Stir till cheese is melted. Add in to cooked and liquid removed macaroni. Next stir Mozzarella in. Brown bread crumbs in butter, add in Parmesan and paprika. Sprinkle on top. Bake till bubbly (10 min). To achieve proper degree of creaminess, don't bake the usual 20 min or possibly cheese turns rubbery. Serves 8.
