30 Minute Biscuits With Yeast

Ingredientes

  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1/8 teaspoon soda (optional)
  • 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 2 1/2 c. flour, sifted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 yeast cake (Fleischmann's)

Direcciones

  1. Sift all dry ingredients together. Fold in shortening with fork. Dissolve yeast in lowfat milk and proceed as you would for any other biscuits. Mix well and roll and cut with biscuit cutter. Grease pan and grease biscuits with melted fat. Set aside till ready to bake. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 or possibly 20 min.
