Ingredientes

  • 3 c. Sifted cake flour
  • 2 c. Sugar
  • 4 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 4 x Large eggs
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 c. Water
  • 1 c. Shortening (pareve)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla

Direcciones

  1. Note: I will be giving my pareve version of the cake:
  2. Sift together flour,baking pwdr and salt. Cream shortening till smooth.
  3. Gradually add in sugar, creaming till light and fluffy. Add in Large eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Add in dry ingred. alternately with water.
  4. Add in vanilla.
  5. cake: bake for 25 minutes. in medium oven.
  6. cupcakes: fill greased cupcake pans 2/3 full. Bake in moderate oven 20-25 minutes. yield: 24 cupcakes.
  7. Note: I put paper "c." in the cupcake pans and spray them with kal-shemen
  8. (a low fat spray) before filling with batter. you can ice the cupcakes or possibly add in any topping you like.
