Ingredientes

  • 8 slc Italian peasant bread, 1/2" thick
  • 2 c. snow crab meat - (abt 4 ounce)
  • 2 Tbsp. regular or possibly low-fat mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp lowfat sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 4 tsp finely-minced chives Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste

Direcciones

  1. Grill the bread, or possibly toast it in a 350 degree oven till the bread is golden.
  2. Using a fork, in a bowl, combine the crab meat, mayonnaise, lowfat sour cream, mustard, and 2 tsp. of the chives. Season to taste with pepper.
  3. Spread each crisp with one-eighth of the crabmeat mix. Sprinkle with the remaining chives, and serve.
  4. This recipe yields 8 servings.
  5. Comments: Blending snow crab with a minimum of seasonings - just a bit of mayonnaise and lowfat sour cream, and a touch of mustard - shows off its fresh, briny sweetness. These crisps heaped with snow crab, will disappear quickly at your next party.
