All Bran Banana Nut Bread

Ingredientes

  • 1/4 c. shortening
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. Kellogg's All Bran
  • 1 1/2 c. mashed bananas
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon soda
  • 1/3 c. minced nut meats

Direcciones

  1. Blend shortening and sugar thoroughly. Add in the egg and beat well. Add in the All Bran, bananas and flavoring. Sift flour, baking pwdr and soda together. Add in to the first mix with the nut meats, stirring only till the flour disappears. Bake in greased loaf pan (with wax paper in the bottom) in a 350 degree oven about 1 hour. Yield: 1 (4 1/2" x 8 1/2") pan.
